Members of GAMA today elected William S. Rafferty, executive vice president of Mestek, Inc., as chairman if GAMA. Rafferty will serve a 1-year term as chairman of GAMA's Executive Committee and board of directors.
APPLIANCE magazine attended the elections at this morning's General Session of the association's 71st Annual Meeting at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.
GAMA-An Association of Appliance & Equipment Manufacturers is also known as the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association. As GAMA President Jack W. Klimp told attendees today, the association does not restrict itself to gas-fueled appliances.

The newly elected GAMA officers will serve 1-year terms in the Executive committee and board of directors.
Outgoing Chairman Thomas F. Huntington, York International (Norman, Oklahoma, U.S.), will serve a 1-year term as Past Chairman.
