HVAC manufacturer Fedders Corporation announced the formation of a new business unit -- Fedders Commercial/Industrial Air Treatment Products.
According to the company, the new division streamlines and simplifies the delivery of premium comfort and indoor air quality solutions to distributors, institutional and educational end users, hotels, restaurant chains, clean room and research facilities, hospitals, telecom, and pharmaceutical companies.
The new division will market all of its Commercial and Industrial air treatment products under its Fedders®, Addison, Eubank, Sun, Trion, Herrmidifier, and Envirco brands and will be lead by Division President Dave Schumacher.
"Our goal is to become the indoor air treatment solutions provider of choice. With the tremendous potential for synergy across these businesses, combining them into one division was a natural evolution," said Schumacher. "Now, our sales people can really take one-stop shopping to our clients, especially national accounts like restaurants and hotel chains. Going forward, one Fedders representative can offer everything the end user needs to handle even the toughest air treatment requirements, from kitchen exhaust systems to custom HVAC -- even smoke elimination in bars."
