China Appliance Efficiency Standards Take Effect Dec 30, 2005

The National Energy Efficiency Standards for All Household Appliances will become effective in 2006, according to an officer from the Standardization Administration of China.

The national energy efficiency standards for color TVs will be implemented on March 1, 2006, with standards for other appliances going into effect in 2006.
