Bullish on India, security, fire safety and communication technology provider Bosch Security Systems (BSS) on said it aims to achieve number one position in India in the next couple of years.
However, the company, a division of Robert Bosch GMBH, does not have plans to set up a manufacturing base in India.
BSS started operations in India in 2003 and has been experiencing double digit growth since the year of inception, Company Head (India), Dhiraj Wali said here.
He said that the Indian market was expected to grow in the days ahead since security became a part and parcel of life in every field.
The company, Wali said, has no plans to set up a manufacturing facility in India. In stead, it would look at organic growth in the country.
Wali, however, said the parent company after expanding itself across the world, is now scouting for both inorganic as well as organic growth for further expansion. BSS has presence in over 40 countries with manufacturing bases in U.S., Portugal, Holland, Germany, and China.
The company has five-product lines-CCTV technology, intrusion detection system, fire alarm system, public address system, and access control system. (Business Line)
