South Korea's LG Electronics Co. said it has won an international quality certification for its personal computers (PC), the first ever for a PC maker in the global market.
The company said it has received the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 mark, one of the most reliable certifications used by software and system developers in the world. It was created by the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University of the U.S. (Yonhap)
