BSH Home Appliances Corporation, based in Huntington Beach, California, U.S., said today it will restructure its corporate organization to support ongoing growth.

The corporate reorganization will encompass changes in reporting structures, the addition of executives in key posts, and creation of four sales regions across the U.S. (Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West).

BSH President and CEO Franz J. Bosshard said, "Consistent with our strategic initiatives, specifically customer focus and operational excellence, the reorganization will provide more efficient business processes, enhanced support of BSH's customers, and a better positioning of the company for future growth."

The new organization takes effect on January 1, 2006. Appointments to key executive positions will be announced in coming weeks.

BSH doubled its business in the last 3 years. The company is constructing a 600,000 square-foot logistics and distribution center. It recently completed a 100,000 square-foot expansion of its factories in North Carolina in response to consumer demand for its highly rated dishwashers. In the past 6 months, BSH added offices and/or showrooms in Texas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Toronto, Canada. It also has offices and showrooms in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago Illinois; Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New York City, among others. BSH sells its products through distributors, independent appliance dealers, national and regional retailers, and large buying groups.

BSH Home Appliances Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bosch and Siemens Hausgerate GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, the world's 3rd largest home appliances manufacturer. BSH Home Appliances Corporation manufactures and markets small and major home appliances under the Bosch, Siemens, Thermador, and Gaggenau brands throughout North America. Manufacturing facilities are located in New Bern, North Carolina, and La Follette, Tennessee.
