The United Kingdom-based appliance maker Aga Foodservice Group has accelerated its North American consumer expansion plans with the purchase of the Cambridge, Ontario-based premium cooker and refrigerator manufacturer, Heartland Appliances.
Aga produces range cookers and refrigerators for the residential, commercial and bakery markets. Its consumer brands include Aga, Marvel Industries, Northland Kitchen Appliances, Rayburn, La Cornue, Rangemaster, Fired Earth, Grange, and Domain.
According to Aga, Heartland cookers and stoves have established niche positions in Canada and the U.S. and seamlessly fit with the look and market position of other Group appliance brands, including Aga Ranges, Inc., Marvel Industries and Northland Kitchen Appliances.
