Messe Frankfurt, Inc., a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt Exhibitions GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany, named David Audrain its incoming president. Messe Frankfurt organizes 100 trade shows and other events in 16 countries annually.
David Audrain, CEM, will succeed Roland Bleinroth, outgoing president. Audrain is currently chief operating officer/executive vice president of ConvExx in Las Vegas. He took up his new position in November. He previously held senior management positions with Miller Freeman, Hanley-Wood and Advanstar.
"I am excited about the opportunity to continue the growth of Messe Frankfurt in North America," says Audrain. "The Messe Frankfurt and its show brands are recognized worldwide and there is tremendous potential for expanding in the North American marketplace. I look forward to being a part of this dynamic team."
Bleinroth was president of Messe Frankfurt, Inc., for 10 years. After a transition period working with Audrain, Bleinroth will leave in January 2006 to join the board of management of Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany.
