Duraswitch Becomes InPlay Technologies Jun 15, 2005

Duraswitch (NASDAQ: DSWT) announced that stockholders approved a proposal to change the Company name to InPlay Technologies, Inc. The company’s board of directors recommended the change to better reflect the company’s strategy of leveraging its licensing model with additional proprietary technologies.

“InPlay Technologies is the next phase of our growth,” said Bob Brilon, Duraswitch CEO. “We founded the Company to commercialize our patented switch technologies, initially manufacturing internally to prove the technology in the marketplace. We successfully transitioned to our Duraswitch licensing model. We are now ready to take on additional technologies for commercialization through InPlay Technologies.”

The official name change is effective today. At the commencement of trading today, the company’s common stock traded on NASDAQ will begin trading under the symbol “NPLA.”
