Schick-Wilkinson Sword has introduced its Schick(R) Quattro(R) Power Razor, a four-blade, battery-operated razor. The company says the razor, available in September 2005, is the only razor designed to put the power where it matters most -- near the head of the razor -- to reduce cut force and to deliver more comfort.

Schick says its Quattro Power Razor features an optimized motor placement that delivers power near the head of the razor, gentle pulses near the head of the razor transfer power directly to the 4 blades for a smooth glide, and an ergonomically designed rubberized handle and "on/off" switch designed for control.

The original Schick® Quattro® razor was cited as one of the 25 best-designed products by Fortune Magazine in 2003 and voted one of the top 10 most successful product launches in 2003 by Advertising Age.

The Quattro Power razor kit will retail for U.S. $10.99, and includes a razor, cartridge, stand and a AAA Energizer(R) battery. Refills are available in a 4-count for $10.69 and an 8-count for $20.75.
