Hendricks Holdings Company, Inc. acquired Henry Technologies, Inc., supplier of components for commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning. Its global customers include OEMs, wholesalers and contractors. Henry has manufacturing facilities in Chatham, Illinois, U.S., where it is headquartered, as well as in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and Glasgow, Scotland.
Hendricks, owned by Ken Hendricks, founder of ABC Supply Company, acquired all of Henry stock on July 5, 2005. ABC is said to be one of the largest privately owned companies in the U.S. and it earned the highest Gallup rating in customer and supplier satisfaction.
Henry products are sold under the Henry Valve, AC&R and Chil-Con brand names. Henry says the acquisition will enable it to aggressively pursue a growth strategy, including expanding into new markets and products. It will also establish a refrigeration wholesale distribution center in Beloit, Wisconsin, U.S.
A new Henry management team is in place, including Curtis Watkins, president; Charlie Graham, executive vice president of operations; and Kellee Thomas, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
