Appliance retailer The Home Depot announced that its stores will now display and sell home appliances from LG Electronics throughout the U.S. The appliances will also be available at EXPO Design Center locations in late August and online.
The product selection includes laundry systems, refrigerators, dishwashers, air-conditioners, over-the-range microhoods, and countertop microwave ovens.
"Our presence in The Home Depot stores is sure to accelerate the success we've experienced thus far in the United States," said Teddy Hwang, president of Digital Appliances, LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. "We're excited to be partnering with a company that has a forward-thinking appliance strategy and offers customers the convenience of more than 1,700 U.S. locations. This collaboration will provide exposure of our products to a customer base that presents a major growth opportunity for us."
Some of LG Electronics' recent product innovations include the Internet refrigerator, TROMM front-loading washer/dryer, television refrigerator, and combination microwave oven.
