Safety testing and certification organization Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has named Keith E. Williams as its new president and CEO. Mr. Williams was also elected to the company’s board of trustees. Mr. Williams joins the organization from medical device manufacturer Medtronic, Inc., where, as senior vice president, he diversified and strengthened the company’s Asia-Pacific business.
