The consumer durables sector is in for another high profile movement with Rajeev Karwal, CEO and managing director of Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd, resigning.
Confirming the development, Mr. Karwal said he was serving a 3-month notice period.
"I will be going on a sabbatical for the next few months. I have not yet decided on my next assignment, though I am looking at several options," he said. It was not immediately clear who would take over the position previously held by Mr. Karwal.
The development comes amid speculation of a major restructuring at Electrolux Kelvinator. It is believed that Videocon group could acquire the company's manufacturing units and select brands. (Sify Finance)
