Gillette CEO Joins New York Times Board Jun 17, 2005

Gillette Co. Chairman and Chief Executive James Kilts was elected to the board of directors of New York Times Co., the media company said.

Mr. Kilts is credited with turning around personal care appliance maker Gillette since taking the top job in 2001. The company is now in the midst of a U.S. $55-billion merger with Procter & Gamble Co. (Reuters)
