Appliance retailer Lowe's Companies, Inc. announced that Samsung-branded digital kitchen appliances will be available at its more than 1,100 stores throughout the U.S. by the fall of 2005.
"Samsung is recognized worldwide for its superior electronics and product innovation," said John Kasberger, Lowe's senior vice president and general merchandising manager of Hardlines. "The addition of Samsung digital products to our appliance portfolio is one more way Lowe's is offering the latest in technologically advanced, energy-efficient home appliances to our customers."
Known for its consumer electronics products, Samsung also manufacturers a line of digitally controlled appliances.
"Lowe's expertise and network of stores across the country will allow our digital brand to continue to expand and will complement our business as we build on our success in the home appliance marketplace," said Peter Weedfald, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Consumer Electronics & North American Corporate Marketing for Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
Samsung home appliances, beginning with side-by-side and bottom-mount refrigerators, will be in stock at most Lowe's stores throughout the U.S. beginning in September 2005.
