Building on its home appliance product portfolio, LG Electronics introduced the company's first dishwasher line for the U.S. market at the 2005 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) in Las Vegas, NV, U.S.

With the introduction of our dishwasher line, we are staying true to our word," said Teddy Hwang, president of Digital Appliances for LG Electronics, U.S.A. "Our dishwasher line is in a league of its own -- as our latest innovations are one of the quietest models on the market, and also offer one of the largest capacities to consumers."
LG says the dishwasher also features one of the larges tub capacity, fitting 16-place settings, versus the standard 12 or 14 available on the market in most models on the market today.
The dishwashers are available in semi- and fully-integrated exterior models in white, black, and stainless steel finishes. The semi-integrated models feature digital display controls on the outside door, while the fully integrated versions have the digital display on the outside door and controls hidden on top of the door.
The appliances also include a soil level sensor that determines the number of rinses needed, and the zone cleaning option allows for washing in the upper or lower decks only to conserve water.

High-drying efficiency by combined condensation and fan drying
Available now, LG's dishwasher line are available at a manufacturer's suggested retail prices ranging from U.S. $699 to $1,099.
