Conn's, Inc. a home appliance and consumer electronics retailer, announced net sales for the quarter ended April 30, 2005, increased 17.2 percent to U.S. $138.9 from $118.5 million in the same period of 2004. Same store sales were up 7.3 percent for the same period.
"We are encouraged by the level of our sales increases both in total and on a comparable store basis," Thomas J. Frank, chairman and CEO, said. "We believe such results validate our growth strategies which emphasize new stores in new markets and new products and new categories in existing stores. These results are indicative of our associates' level of execution and performance, which is a Conn's mainstay.
