Appliance retailer Sears Holdings Corporation has recognized Electrolux Group with nine Partners in Progress Awards for 2004, including the most prestigious “Supplier of the Year” recognition for hardline products.
Alan J. Lacy, vice chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings Corporation, presented the awards in a special event honoring the company’s top suppliers. Of the more than 10,000 suppliers that compete annually for recognition in the Partners in Progress program, less than 150 are recognized with awards.
The nine awards recognize Electrolux excellence in quality, innovation, overall market performance, and diversity. The winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears’ employees who purchase goods and services for the company. Electrolux winners were Electrolux Major Appliances North America and Electrolux Consumer Outdoor Products, both of Augusta, GA, U.S.
