Miele of the U.S. is introducing five ventilation hoods. The DA362-75 built-in hood installs into custom canopies or over-head cabinetry for an unobstructed view over the range. At 30 in, the unit features a four-way joystick control to avoid reaching over a hot range to adjust the hood, according to the company. With built-in halogen lamps that illuminate the surface below and removable metal filters that are dishwasher safe, the double motor system moves up to 425 cfm and requires a 110 V connection.

The DA402, DA408, and DA409 wall-mounted ventilation hoods provide air-cleaning performance. The brushed stainless steel hoods feature front mounted controls and four power settings with one intensive setting for exceptional odors. Built-in timers operate the unit for either 5- or 15-min intervals with an automatic shut-off feature when the interval expires.

The company says all models feature a safety switch off, double-edge action fan, moves up to 625 cfm, and is available in a durable powder coat finish in any one of 200 custom colors. The 30-in DA408 and the 36-in DA409 are available in vented or recirculation models, and the 48-in DA402 is available only in a vented model.

The DA403 is reportedly safe to operate with front mounted four-speed power and built-in halogen, the single motor system moves up to 625 cfm. The unit also features preset 5- and 15-min timed programs and a programmable 10-min setting for cleaning and removable filters that are dishwasher safe. Available in stainless steel or one of any 200 custom color options, the DA403 comes in vented or recirculation models.
