Japan-based Fujitsu Ltd. announced that it has successfully steamlined its processes involved in handling used computers and other information appliances collected from corporate customers.

As a result, the company says it has totally eliminated waste when handling the used goods at its seven recycling facilities in Japan.

The company says it no longer incinerates or dumps used plastics and is taking proper measures to prevent used computers and automated teller machines from being illegally disposed of.

In addition Fujitsu says used plastics are now divided into six categories, instead of two as in the past, so they can be recycled as materials or fuel. (Asia Pulse)
