Rheem Water Heaters announced the appointment of James A. Cika to specialty water heating manager, based at company headquarters in Montgomery, AL, U.S.
In his new position, Mr. Cika will be responsible for identifying and increasing business opportunities for the company's tankless and solar water heating lines, in addition to the company's aftermarket parts operation.
Prior to joining Rheem, Mr. Cika spent 5 years as engineering services manager at Rinnai America Corporation in Peachtree City, GA, U.S., where he worked in new product and application-solution development, as well as in customer training on service and installation procedures.
Previously, Mr. Cika served in various engineering posts for the Atlanta Gas Light Company, designing gas-distribution facilities and testing gas appliances. He also spent 2 years in the HVAC business, designing heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.
Mr. Cika has holds a B.A. degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
