LG Electronics is making inroads into the wireless electronics market with its first offering, a wireless 15-in LCD TV.
The 15LW1R weighs 4 kg and features LG's advanced wireless technology, which reportedly allows consumers to enjoy images (resolution: 1,024 by 768) anywhere within 35 m of the transmitter box. The LCD TV also offers an internal rechargeable battery, allowing up to 3 hr of viewing time.
In addition, the TV functions as a wireless monitor and can access multimedia contents (JPEG, MPEG) on a PC. The transmitter box connects users to the media sources and transfers the files wirelessly. (itWeb)
