Desa LLC, a manufacturer electric lawn and gardening tools, zone heating, and other home comfort products, announced Randy Schickert to the position of president, Indoor/Outdoor Heating Products.
The company says its outdoor products formed the foundation for its heating business in the 1970s and the indoor products fueled the company's growth through the 1980s. In his new role, Mr. Schickert will lead continued growth efforts in product development, customer expansion, and operational excellence in the indoor and outdoor divisions of Desa LLC.
Mr. Schickert worked for the Huffy Sports Company located in Sussex, WI, U.S., a division of the Huffy Corporation, for the past 12 years. He held various positions in Engineering, Quality, Operations, and General Management, most recently serving as president and general manager since 1999.
