Electrolux Home Care Announces Sales Promotions Jan 11, 2005

Bloomington, IL, U.S.-based Electrolux Home Care Products North America (formerly The Eureka Company) announced the appointments of Rob Newcombe to vice president of national accounts and Greg Miller to the position of vice president of National and Commercial Sales. Previously, Mr. Newcombe and Mr. Miller served as general managers under the leadership of vice president of sales, Michael Piraino, who recently retired.

"Both of these gentlemen bring terrific experience and proven skills," said John Case, president and CEO of Electrolux Home Care Products. "They are greatly respected by our trade partners, and we are confident they will be instrumental in achieving the company’s growth plans."

Mr. Newcombe joined Electrolux Home Care Products North America in September 2003 after a 10-year sales career at Whirlpool Corporation. He earned a bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Mr. Miller rejoined the Electrolux sales organization in March 2000 after 10 years with Bissell, Inc. Before joining Bissell, he had been with Eureka for 11 years serving in a variety of sales positions. He is a graduate of Kentucky’s Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
