Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Sears, and True Value will participate in an American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) program that provides education on the latest in EDI Advanced Ship Notice (ASN) technology issues and will explain how their specific EDI ASN requirements will affect their vendors.

The first workshop will be held Feb. 16, 2005 in Atlanta, GA, U.S. featuring The Home Depot, followed by a second workshop March 10, 2005 in Chicago, IL, U.S. featuring Ace Hardware, Sears, and True Value.

Identified as the industry's top technology challenge, the ASN Workshops will provide information suppliers need to know in order to comply with their trading partners -- including the 856 Ship Notice/Manifest, transportation and logistics, vendor and retailer perspectives, technical implementation of the 856.
