Sharp Electronics Corporation (Mahwah, NJ, U.S.) has introduced a new line of the company's Insight(TM) Range, combining a glass ceramic cooktop and conventional oven with a microwave drawer.
The company says the new units feature a conventional thermal lower oven and manual microwave drawer operation in a 30-in size. The cooktop features front-mounted glass touch control panels and separate LCD displays are provided for the oven and microwave drawer.
Sharp also announced that its Insight Pro Range model features convection cooking and a warming zone on the cooktop in addition to the features found on the Insight Range.
Additionally, the company said that other 30-in electric freestanding and slide-in models, in stainless steel, black, and white finishes will be introduced throughout the end of 2004.
Insight and Insight Pro Ranges will be available at MSRP U.S. $1,399.99 to $2,299.99.
