Consumer electronics and appliance company Samsung Electronics Co., said that it has resumed the production of televisions in Brazil after a 5-year hiatus.
The South-Korean based company said it aims of becoming a top TV brand in the market within 3 years. Additionally, Samsung said it plans to produce 300,000 televisons a year at its plant in Manaus, Brazil to meet a projected growth in demand as the country's economy improves. (Yonhap)
