LG Introduces Latest Cell Phone Models in China Oct 18, 2004

LG Electronics introduced a line of premium cellular phone models on the Chinese market. The company launched a new European-style GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) 1.3-million pixel Mega-pixel camera phone (LC-C920) and 2-million pixel digital camera phone (LG-C910) in Beijing at an unveiling attended by 17,000, including LG and China Unicom employees.

The LG-C950 digital phone is the first 3-million pixel camera to be introduced on the Chinese market, according to LG Electronics.

Vice President of LG Electronics in China, Shin Ki-seop, said that the marketing of the 2-million pixel camera phone will play a major role in enhancing LG’s image in China and added that the company will continue to produce new models with upgraded technology. (The Chosun Ilbo)
