Appliance maker MicroFridge(R) announced its entry into the office marketplace with a new line of compact appliances designed specifically for the workplace.
The company's line of MicroFridge Compact Refreshment Centers(TM) are said to help satisfy the space, energy, and portability needs to extend breakroom amenities to where they are needed. MicroFridge says it offers choices for small and remote offices, as well as companies changing workplace locations and configurations.
The MicroFridge® Compact Refreshment Center combines a refrigerator, "ice cream quality" freezer, and microwave in one unit and includes a 2-year warranty with support from a U.S. service network.
Available in three models, the company says the Executive model features fingerprint-free stainless steel doors, a black interior, a 2.9 cu ft refrigerator/freezer, and an integrated Energy Star-rated microwave. The Director model features black doors, a black cabinet, a 2.9 cu ft refrigerator/freezer, and an integrated Energy Star-rated microwave. The Partner model features black doors, a black cabinet, a 4.8 cu ft refrigerator/freezer, and an integrated microwave, while the Personal Assistant model features black doors with black cabinet, a 2.7 cu. ft. refrigerator, and integrated microwave.
The refreshment centers are only currently available through the company, but it says it is exploring options to offer a broader distribution for business customers.
