With 8 months until the 60th annual National Hardware Show(R) set to take place on May 17 to 19 in Las Vegas, NV, U.S., more than 1,700 manufacturers have committed to more than 444,500-sq-ft of available floor space for 2005.
"Early demand for the 2005 National Hardware Show has been very strong and constant, which provides proof that we met expectations at the 2004 show by delivering the show the industry wanted and needed," said Rob Cappiello, industry vice president for the National Hardware Show. "We will be making even more enhancements, seeking additional industry partners, and adding even more value for both manufacturers and buyers."
To accommodate the growth, the 2005 National Hardware Show will span two Las Vegas venues -- the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and the Sands Convention Center. The Sands will house the Lawn & Garden World, New Product World(R), and Global Hardware Exposm, the international exhibition area, while the LVCC will house Hardware & Tools, Paint & Decor, Plumbing, Electrical and Housewares, and its own New Product World(R).
The 2005 National Hardware Show will also be the first year that Reed Exhibitions’
National Hardware Show and George Little Management’s Las Vegas Gourmet Housewares Show will be co-located.
The 2004 National Hardware Show featured 2,303 exhibitors and more than 479,000-sq-ft of exhibit space.
