Sony Announces First Consumer HD Video Camcorder
Said to be the world's first consumer HDV 1080I compatible Digital High Definition (H) video camcorder, Sony's HDR-FX1 will hit stores in October 2004. The new camcorder contains various newly developed semiconductors, utilizing Sony's most advanced circuitry technology.
The HDR-FX1 incorporates 1,120,000 pixel High Definition 1080I compatible HD CCD, a result of Sony' imaging device technology.
