Motorola Chairman and CEO Ed Zander will deliver one of the keynote addresses at the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced.
Mr. Zander will address the consumer electronics tradeshow on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005 in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater. The 2005 International CES run Jan. 6-9, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV, U.S.
Other technology industry luminaries slated to speak at the show include Microsoft's Bill Gates and Intel's Craig Barnett.
"Motorola's products and innovations affect the entire spectrum of consumer technologies -- from in-car applications to at-home broadband entertainment to on-the-go information," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the CEA, the producer of the CES. "We're excited to have Ed join our prestigious keynote line-up for the 2005 International CES … CES attendees can expect to get unique insights on now technology is changing to make all consumers stay more connected, entertained, informed and secure."
