West Bend Housewares to Build New Headquarters, Distribution Facility Aug 18, 2004

Small appliance company West Bend Housewares LLC, a division of Focus Products Group, has announced it will be building a new headquarters and distribution facility in West Bend, WI, U.S. The developer is Ziegler-Bence and the project will feature a 160,000-sq-ft building in the Wingate Business Park.

"We are extremely pleased to make this commitment to our employees and the community," Mike Carpenter, president of WBH said in a statement. "The West Bend Brand has been an exceptional addition to the Focus Products Group portfolio and this move positions us well to meet our expansion plans."

FPG acquired West Bend Housewares in July of 2003 and currently leases office and warehouse space from Regal Ware as part of the purchase agreement. The development schedule would allow West Bend Housewares to relocate its operations to the new facility by June 2005.
