Kenwood Adds Retailers for Home Electronics Line Aug 12, 2004

Kenwood USA announced that retailers P.C Richard & Son and J&R Music & Computer World have signed on as dealers for Kenwood home electronics products.

P.C. Richard, which has more than 45 stores in the New York, U.S. metropolitan area, has been a Kenwood mobile electronics dealer and is adding home products to its offerings. J&R, a fixture in lower Manhattan, NY, U.S. for more than 30 years, is taking on Kenwood products for the first time.

"This is a major development for Kenwood in the New York market and makes a very strong industry statement in support of the direction we've taken with our home entertainment products, especially with respect to digital convergence and future-ready design," said Dan Petersen, executive vice president of Sales & Marketing at Kenwood. "We know the new Kenwood Fineline products, including systems and components, played an important role in placing the line with these retailers."

Kenwood's sales representative for the region is Trent Partners & Associates, based in Rockville Center, NY, U.S.
