With the 2005 National Hardware Show and Gourmet Housewares Show in Las Vegas, NV, U.S. still some 10 months away, the trade show is almost 60 percent sold out, with 1,320 exhibitors committed for 350,750-sq-ft of exhibit space.
According to show organizers, many companies that refrained from attending the 2004 show are returning to the event. The industry has said that they prefer the new location, improved momentum, and increased value of the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.
Just a few of the companies that are returning to the show after an absence in 2004 include Vaughan & Bushnell, Plano Molding, Harrington Tool, Johnson Level, Peerless Chain, Hy-Ko, LDR Ind., RCR/WJ Dennis, Prime-Line, Sentry Group, Harper Brush, Stylette and Ettore, The W.W. Henry Company, Allied International, and Enkay Products.
"We have received a very positive response from both the manufacturers and the retailers who attended the 2004 show," said Rob Cappiello, industry vice president of the National Hardware Show. "This has translated to great buzz about the show in the industry, and that has attracted back some companies who don’t want to miss out on the 2005 show."
The dates for the 2005 National Hardware Show in Las Vegas are May 17-May 19, 2005.
The 2005 National Hardware Show, co-located with the Gourmet Housewares Show for the first time, will feature exhibit space at the Sands Convention Center, where the 2004 Show was being held, plus additional space at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The 2004 National Hardware Show featured more than 2,200 exhibitors and more than 489,000-sq-ft of exhibit space.
