Emerson Radio Corp and Nickelodeon announced today that a multi-year licensing agreement between the two companies will grant Emerson the U.S. rights to manufacture and market a line of consumer electronics products based upon Nickelodeon properties. The first products of the line, inspired by SpongeBob SquarePant(R), are said to be released in Fall 2003.
The product line, which, according to the companies, is expected to be in retail stores in September/October 2003, will include CD boomboxes, personal CD players, and a 13-in color TV featuring SpongeBob SquarePants. According to Emerson, it will also release a portable flat-panel AM/FM radio featuring The Fairly OddParents. Back
