Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD) has introduced the Satellite(R) A70 and A60 Series wireless notebook PCs that are reportedly designed to deliver power and performance in a mobile form factor for small- and medium-sized businesses.

The Satellite A70 Series has a 15.4-in wide screen. The Satellite A60 Series is geared for first-time notebook buyers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners, and are said to be fully equipped with the hardware and software tools needed to perform everyday business activities.

Both the Satellite A70 and A60 Series notebooks are said to offer integrated communication capabilities for almost every environment, including built-in Wi-Fi(R) (802.11 b/g) wireless connectivity(1), 10/100 Ethernet, or v.92 modem.

The Satellite A70 notebook is powered by the Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processor 532 supporting Hyper-Threading Technology(2), which reportedly allows for faster system responsiveness and performance, even when running multiple applications simultaneously.

The 15.4-in diagonal wide screen display (1,280 by 800) allows multiple documents, spreadsheets, or Web pages to be viewed side-by-side.

The Satellite A60 Series includes features such as the Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor 518 (Satellite A60-S166 only), hard-disk drive, and 256MB of PC2700 memory. The Satellite A60 Series is powered by the ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP graphics processor.

Additionally, it contains a TV-out port to enable quick connections to a television, projector, or other device.
