The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), has issued a call for speaker applications for the 2005 International CES to be held in Las Vegas, NV, U.S., January 6-9, 2005.
Speaker proposals are due by July 30, 2004. Proposals can be submitted online at www.CESweb.org/speakers.
Suggested topics for the 2005 International CES conference program include the following:
Content Delivery Systems
Digital Audio and Video
Digital Rights Management
High-Speed Data Services
Multi-Purpose Cell Phones
Product Planning & Development
Security Protection for CE Devices
Social Impact of CE Devices
Technology for Seniors
Most sessions are produced in a moderator/panelists format. Sessions are approximately 1 hr in length with audience participation and limited audio-visual support.
Because of the number of sessions offered and the need for a balanced program, a limited number of presenters will be accepted. All proposals will be considered based on industry representation, professionalism, prior public speaking experience and relevance to session topic. Proposed presenters will be notified of acceptance by Sept. 24, 2004.
Show management staff will work with the speakers on all logistical, operational and promotional aspects of the session. Speakers are required to prepare and reproduce presentation materials (i.e., handouts and topic outlines).
