Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, announced a strategic partnership with Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC), a major international manufacturer of air-conditioning systems and a leader in the Middle East.
The partnership combines products from several companies within the Emerson Climate Technologies business group, including Copeland, Flow Controls, White-Rodgers, HVACR Motors and Therm-O-Disc.
Emerson said the relationship represents its first truly integrated, strategic partnership in the Middle East, although the company has been a supplier to Zamil Air Conditioners for more than 20 years. Emerson says the new partnership allows it to offer Zamil several products from across the business group’s individual companies under one strategic partnership.
"This partnership with Zamil Air Conditioners is an excellent example of why we formed Emerson Climate Technologies two years ago," said Tom Bettcher, Emerson executive vice president and business leader of Emerson Climate Technologies. "By bringing together products, services, and expertise from across our individual businesses, we have created a single, worldwide resource for the climate control needs of our customers that is more capable of supporting their success than any one Emerson business alone."
Zamil Air Conditioners, one of the unit companies of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC), manufactures, tests, markets, and services a comprehensive range of commercial and residential air-conditioning products, ranging from compact room air-conditioners and mini splits to large-scale central air-conditioners, chillers, and air-handling units. The company’s six in-house brands are Classic, Cooline, CoolCare, Clima Tech, Geoclima, and Kessler Clima Tech.
"Zamil Air Conditioners teams up with only the most reputed and professional suppliers to ensure high quality of its products," said Abdulla M. Al Zamil, chief operating officer of Zamil Industrial Investment Company. "Emerson Climate Technologies fits our high standards perfectly. With their sales support and relationship building at all levels, we feel even more confident now about Emerson Climate Technologies’ ability to support our strategic and operational initiatives."
With its recently expanded Middle East headquarters in Dubai, UAE, Emerson Climate Technologies said it is better able to serve key partners like Zamil locally, by operating closely with them and meeting customer needs in their markets. Emerson Climate Technologies was established in the region in 2001.
