Xerox Names COO for Global Services Division Apr 29, 2004

Business appliance retailer Xerox Corporation has named John M. Kelly as senior vice president and chief operating officer (COO) of Xerox Global Services, the company's consulting arm.

In this newly created position, Mr. Kelly will oversee global services development and delivery, North America sales operations, go-to-market initiatives, and technology. Xerox said the formation of the COO position signifies its further investment in a consultative, services-led business model.

Prior to joining Xerox, Mr. Kelly founded and served as president and CEO of Niteo Partners Inc., now a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Solutions America. In addition to leading the strategic technology consulting and systems integration firm, Mr. Kelly has held key leadership positions in Cap Gemini's Americas and European consulting services operations.

Mr. Kelly holds a master's degree in Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin.
