Taiwan’s Kolin to Sell LCD and LCOS TVs in China Apr 20, 2004

Kolin plans to begin selling LCD and LCOS TVs in China this July, according to company vice president Frank Lee. Kolin will partner with Tsann Kuen Enterprise, a Taiwan-based home appliance manufacturer and chain retailer with outlets in Taiwan and China.

Lee said Kolin’s 20-, 27-, 30-inch LCD TVs and 50-inch LCOS TVs will be outsourced to Tsann Kuen and distributed under the Kolin brand name in Tsann Kuen’s retail stores in China.

Kolin expects to ship 20,000 units in the first half of this year, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News.
