Whirlpool Unveils Exclusive Water Cooler Line to Lowe's Apr 1, 2004

Whirlpool has unveiled a new exclusive line of water coolers at retailer Lowe's.

The line includes four different bottled water cooler options, each featuring an adjustable cold water thermostat. Also featured are a specially designed cap said to prevent spillage during installation and a patented water reservoir.

Each bottled cooler includes a 2-year limited warranty and accommodates 3- to 5-gall cooler jugs (Lowe's stocks and delivers Nestle bottled water products).

The Stainless Steel, Refrigerated, and Hot & Cold water coolers in the new line also reportedly offer high-performance ENERGY STAR(R) qualification savings through a built-in TruChill(TM) cooling system, which ensures water temperatures stay between 39 degrees Fahrenheit and 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

Whirlpool is also offering a junior-sized water cooler that it says can double as a party drink entertaining unit, holding items such as pop and fruit juices.

Lowe's and Whirlpool are also offering a customized special order program that allows consumers to choose their own water cooler body and accent colors, as well as their preferred water temperature options on select models.
