Eastman Kodak Company (Rochester, NY, U.S.) has launched a new line of mid- to-high-volume document scanners.
The new KODAK i600 Series Scanners, which reportedly convert paper documents to digital images at speeds of up to 120 pages per minute, lead a group of four new products and services that the company will introduce at the AIIM 2004 Conference & Exposition in New York City, NY, U.S.
The i600 Series Scanners—as well as Kodak's new Film-to-Digital Conversion Services, reference archive software, and scanner service and support—represent another step in the company's efforts to help businesses efficiently capture, manage, archive, and deliver critical business documents, and information.
"Corporate-governance issues and regulations are creating the need for companies to focus more resources on how they manage data and information," Dolores Traxler, general manager of Kodak's Document Products & Services, says in a written statement announcing the new scanners.
