CEA Names Senior Manager of Industry Analysis Mar 4, 2004

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that it has named Steve Koenig as senior manager of industry analysis. Mr. Koenig will provide analysis for CEA's exclusive consumer research and Market Activity Report and Analysis Program (MARA) data, as well as serve as a market analyst on wireless phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), in-car entertainment and portable audiovisual equipment trends.

Mr. Koenig brings 8 years of analytical and customer service experience to his position. Most recently, he served as an analytic consultant for comScore Media Metrix, performing analysis and client services for the company's Internet tracking customers. Prior to joining comScore, he worked as a technology industry analyst and account manager at The NPD Group/PC Data Inc., where he focused primarily on data analysis, product development, sales and client relationships of PC software and hardware.

In addition, Mr. Koenig was a senior editor at CMP Media's former Computer Retail Week, writing about imaging hardware and software, entertainment software, and e-commerce. He also worked at ARS Inc. as a competitive analyst for the retail computer printer market.

Mr. Koenig graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, U.S., with a bachelor's degree in Marketing.
