German steel and engineering group Thyssen Krupp AG has raised its prices for hot strip, sheet, and coated products by 20 euros per ton for deliveries. At press time, Thyssen, the world's number four flat carbon steel producer, said the prices would be effective as of Jan. 1, 2004. The price increase has been implemented to counter increasing cost pressure, the company said.
