Home improvement retailer Lowe's Companies, Inc. announced the promotion of Gregory M. Bridgeford to executive vice president of Business Development.
Mr. Bridgeford, a 22-year Lowe’s veteran, oversees all aspects of Lowe’s development of new business opportunities, strategic planning, research, and business process improvement. He previously served as senior vice president of Business Development.
"Greg is a key member of Lowe’s executive management team and continues to do an excellent job leading our business development, strategy formulation and evaluation process," said Robert L. Tillman, Lowe's chairman and CEO. "His ability to keep a finger on the pulse of consumer trends will continue to be invaluable to Lowe’s - and help us continue to deliver an outstanding experience for our customers - well into the future."
Mr. Bridgeford joined Lowe’s in 1982 and has served in a variety of positions, including vice president of Corporate Development, senior vice president of Merchandising/General Merchandising Manager, and senior vice president of Marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and earned an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University.
