NAHB Names Sears as Organization’s Exclusive Membership Sponsor Jan 21, 2004

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced Sears Contract Sales as its exclusive membership sponsor during the 2004 International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, NV, U.S. The partnership, designed to boost the benefits of membership at the local, state, and national levels, will provide NAHB members with enhanced member-recognition opportunities, new communication tools and membership cards, according to NAHB.

"Having Sears Contract Sales on board as our Official Membership Sponsor is going to be a boon for both of us," said NAHB president-elect Bobby Rayburn in a written statement. "Their involvement will enable us to implement value-added programs for our members at the local level and at the same time demonstrate to home builders across the nation that Sears Contract Sales is committed to the future of our industry."

Sears Contract Sales has been a long-standing member of NAHB and exclusive sponsor of the organization’s National Membership Day campaign, a grassroots member-recruitment effort, since 1991.

"We certainly look forward to raising our membership to new heights this year and value the support of Sears Contract Sales," Mr. Rayburn added.
