Members of the Canadian Electronic & Appliance Service Association (CEASA) have voted unanimously to join Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) as a full council. The membership became effective as of Jan. 1, 2004.
CEASA’s joining of EFC is a step ensures that the relationship fostered as a strategic alliance between the two organizations in December, 2002, will continue long into the future, say both groups.
Both CEASA and EFC view the decision as "positive," saying that the sharing of resources and strategies will add strength to both organizations. CEASA Chair Larry Moore, Group VP, Service Sales and Travel, Sears Canada Inc., says that, "The integration with EFC allows our association to advance further towards the achievement of our mission, goals and agenda."
EFC President & CEO Doug Baldwin concurs. "We are delighted to have CEASA as a full council member once again," Mr. Baldwin says. "Many years ago, CEASA was part of CAMA (a precursor to EFC). This renewal of our associations gives both CEASA and EFC a valuable increase in collective strength and ability to better serve our members."
