Robert S. Morrison was elected as a director of Illinois Tool Works Inc. at the company?s annual meeting of stockholders in Chicago, IL, U.S. His election brings to 10 the number of ITW board members. Mr. Morrison recently retired as Vice Chairman of PepsiCo, Inc. From 1997 until the 2001 merger with PepsiCo, he led the Quaker Oats Company as Chairman, President and CEO. Prior to joining Quaker, he served as Chairman and CEO of Kraft, Inc. He began his career in 1969 at Procter and Gamble.
